Still learning

When I was pregnant with our first child, I knew her birth would change our lives in huge ways, but I never realised that I would never be quite the same person again. Becoming a parent reshaped everything I thought I knew about the world. In my quest to become a better human for her, and to give her the best experience of life I could, I have looked into every corner of my own life. I went back to school: listening, reading, watching and applying everything I could to create the best life for her, my son, my husband and me.

I will never have all of the answers, so I will be an eternal student. I am thankful for the amazing people who choose to share their work with the world so that we can all learn. Here I share the work that has made a difference to me and my family, in case it helps others too.

I never want anyone to follow what I did step by step. These links are jumping-off points, for you to start or continue your own journey. If there is one thing I have learned through all of this, it is that there is no one size that fits all. Two people may listen to or read the same thing, form different ideas, and take them in different directions. And that is what we want: learning that is individual, and applied in your own way.
